Passenger cars, vans, and three- and two-wheeled electric vehicles are subsidized\u2014as long as they have purely electric drive. Cargo bikes and e-bikes are explicitly excluded. The subsidies for vehicles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vs.ch\/de\/web\/agenda2030\/mobilitat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Canton Du Valais<\/a> are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Light motor vehicles electric 3.5t:<\/td><td>CHF 3,500<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Light motor vehicles plug-in hybrid 3.5t:<\/td><td>CHF 2,500<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Heavy motor vehicles electric\/plug-in hybrid:<\/td><td>CHF 5,000<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Motorcycles, small motorcycles:<\/td><td>CHF 750<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subsidies for vehicles are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>1 charging point, 11 kW: <\/td><td>CHF 700<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1 charging point, 11\u201322 kW:<\/td><td>CHF 1,500<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>2 charging points, 11\u201322 kW:<\/td><td>CHF 3,000<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Per charging point, &gt;22 kW:<\/td><td>CHF 3,000<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Other:<\/td><td>On request<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Del\u00e9mont:<\/strong><br\/>The Service industriels de Del\u00e9mont (SID) supports the purchase of a new or used electric vehicle with 15% of the net purchase price and up to CHF 3,000. A vehicle that has already been the subject of municipal subsidization is not eligible for additional subsidization. This subsidy is valid for any natural or legal person whose tax domicile and main residence is in Del\u00e9mont.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gland:<\/strong><br\/>CHF 1,500 within the available budget of the City of Gland for the purchase of an electric vehicle. The application can be submitted after purchase (max. 3 months). The applicant purchases the car for personal use and commits not to resell it within two years of purchase.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nyon:<\/strong><br\/>CHF 750 for the purchase of an electric vehicle (including hybrids). Valid for individuals and companies based in Nyon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prilly:<\/strong><br\/>CHF 2,000 for the purchase of an electric car. Valid for persons residing in Prilly. Applications can be submitted every 5 years.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Renens:<\/strong><br\/>CHF 750 for the purchase of an electric vehicle. Valid for individuals and companies based in Renens. Applications can be submitted every 7 years.   <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renens.ch\/web\/territoire_et_economie\/subventions-communales.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ville de Renens<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>St. Gallen:<\/strong><br\/>Subsidies are granted for the purchase and leasing of new vehicles for commercial use of purely electric or plug-in hybrid passenger cars (driver&#8217;s license category B) with CO2 emissions of less than 50 g\/km and a new price under CHF 60,000 (according to the current consumption catalog of TCS and EnergieSchweiz). The contribution amounts to a maximum of 15 percent of the purchase price for the basic equipment plus any battery rentals for four years. For leasing, the contribution is paid in four installments at the beginning of each contract year. Proof must be provided that the leasing contract is still active. There are subsidies for electric cars: CHF 4,500\/5,000 with heat pump, passenger cars with plug-in hybrid drive: CHF 2,500, electrically powered cargo bikes: CHF 1,000.     <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stadt.sg.ch\/home\/mobilitaet-verkehr\/mobilitaetsberatung\/_jcr_content\/Par\/stsg_accordion_list_\/AccordionListPar\/stsg_accordion_1305396062\/AccordionPar\/downloadlist_copy\/DownloadListPar\/download_0.ocFile\/Merkblatt%20EnF%20Elektrofahrzeuge%20f%C3%BCr%20Unternehmen2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F\u00f6rderbeitr\u00e4ge Elektro-Fahrzeuge Unternehmen<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charging stations for electric vehicles that are usable beyond purely private use are subsidized with a maximum of 50 percent of the installation costs, but no more than CHF 100 per kW maximum output power. For charging stations registered in the Ostmobil system, the contribution is CHF 150 per kW maximum output power. <br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stadt.sg.ch\/home\/mobilitaet-verkehr\/mobilitaetsberatung\/_jcr_content\/Par\/stsg_accordion_list_\/AccordionListPar\/stsg_accordion_670548667\/AccordionPar\/downloadlist_copy\/DownloadListPar\/download.ocFile\/Merkblatt%20EnF%20Ladestationen%202019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F\u00f6rderbeitr\u00e4ge Ladestationen<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zurich:<\/strong> <br\/>(or in one of the eligible municipalities in the Canton of Graub\u00fcnden)<br\/>The electricity utility of the City of Zurich (ewz) can provide contributions to promote renewable energy within the framework of the 2000-watt goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subsidy for private charging infrastructure: Charging points with a power output of up to 22 kW are subsidized. For charging points without load management, the subsidy amounts to 40% of the costs of the charging infrastructure and direct installation costs or CHF 80 per kW connection power. The lower amount applies. For charging points with load management, the subsidy amounts to 60% of the costs of the charging infrastructure and direct installation costs or CHF 150 per kW connection power. The lower amount applies.      <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subsidy for publicly accessible charging infrastructure: For charging points up to 22 kW with alternating current (AC), the subsidy amounts to 40% of the costs of the charging infrastructure and direct installation costs or CHF 120 per kW connection power. The lower amount applies. Charging points with a connection power greater than 22 kW (so-called fast charging stations) are operated with direct current (DC). The subsidy amounts to 60% of the costs of the charging infrastructure and direct installation costs or CHF 200 per kW connection power. The lower amount applies.      <br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewz.ch\/de\/ueber-ewz\/portrait\/engagement\/2000-watt-gesellschaft.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">zu den F\u00f6rderbeitr\u00e4gen<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Municipalities and Regions<br\/><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canton of Lucerne<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Municipality of Hochdorf:<\/strong> CHF 500 for electric vehicles. A maximum of one vehicle per applicant is eligible for subsidy.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hochdorf.ch\/verwaltung\/online-schalter\/produktdetails.html\/335\/product\/25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mobilit\u00e4t Gemeinde Hochdorf<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Municipality of Meggen<\/strong>: Max. CHF 1,000 for the purchase of a new electric car with vehicle costs over CHF 10,000. The application can be submitted after purchase (max. 3 months). No subsidy for leasing.    <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meggen.ch\/de\/verwaltung\/dienstleistungen\/?dienst_id=34339\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F\u00f6rderprogramm Meggen<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canton of St. Gallen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Municipality of Waldkirch:<\/strong> 10% of the purchase price up to a maximum of CHF 5,000. The subsidy also applies to leasing, but is limited to one vehicle per household.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waldkirch.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gemeinde Waldkirch<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canton of Schwyz<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Service area of the Elektrizit\u00e4tswerk des Bezirks Schwyz (ebs)<\/strong>: CHF 300 for the purchase of new electric vehicles with a purchase price over CHF 3,000 or CHF 1,000 for the purchase of new electric vehicles with a purchase price over CHF 10,000. A discount of CHF 500 is granted for the installation of an electric charging station by ebs.  <a href=\"https:\/\/ebs.swiss\/foerderprogramme\/#4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F\u00f6rderprogramme ebs<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canton of Thurgau<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Electricity customers of EW Romanshorn<\/strong>: 5% of the price and max. CHF 3,000 for the purchase of a new electric car (or plug-in hybrid with a minimum electric range of 50 km). The subsidy requires the purchase of 2,000 kWh of Mobipower annually for a surcharge of 8 Rp.\/kWh during the first 5 years from payment of the subsidy. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewromanshorn.ch\/nachhaltigkeit\/foerderprogramme\/elektro-auto.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F\u00f6rderung EW Romanshorn<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canton of Vaud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Municipality of Ecublens:<\/strong> CHF 1,500 for the purchase of a new electric vehicle. Valid for individuals and companies based in Ecublens. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canton of Zurich<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Customers of Industrielle Betriebe Kloten (ibk):<\/strong> CHF 1,000 for the purchase of a new electric car. The application can be submitted after purchase (max. 2 months).  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibkloten.ch\/fileadmin\/Dateien\/Produkte\/Strom\/Gesuch_F%C3%B6rderbeitrag_Elektrofahrzeug.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F\u00f6rderprogramm f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeug ibk<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Residents of D\u00fcbendorf and Gockhausen:<\/strong> CHF 1,000 for the purchase of a new electric car. Combination with other third-party subsidies is excluded.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glattwerk.ch\/haustechnik\/energieberatung-duebendorf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Glattwerk D\u00fcbendorf<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Municipality of Horgen:<\/strong> CHF 1,000 for replacing an old car with the purchase of a new car (for all drives with energy efficiency category A). The old car must be at least 9 years old (for electric vehicles at least 5 years).  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horgen.ch\/#willkommen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gemeinde
