Auto Hermann is a member of VFAS, the Association of Independent Car Dealers Switzerland.
Since 1956, the Association of Independent Car Dealers Switzerland (VFAS) has represented the interests of independent and free car dealers in Switzerland. It opposes all restrictions and obstacles in the automotive market. The association is uncompromisingly committed to promoting independent car dealers and to providing fast and unbureaucratic solutions for VFAS members.
Dealer Standard
VFAS sets high standards for its members. Every business that displays the VFAS logo meets the following guidelines set by the association:
U-Number: The dealer holds a dealer license plate (U-number) and meets all associated requirements.
Professional Experience and Expertise: The dealer has specialists with professional experience.
Premises: The premises must be inspected by experts from the road traffic and environmental protection authorities. The corresponding permits must be available.
VAT Obligation: Each member must provide proof of registration in the tax register.
Business Insurance: Each member must provide proof of the legally required business liability insurance.
Proof of Existence: Each member must have been active in the Swiss automotive industry for at least 2 years.
Creditworthiness: Each member has a good payment reputation.
